ICARE team of solar international cooperation project carried out a research meeting and exchange in Spain during December 15th-17th 2014. Professor Huang Shuhong, Professor Hu Song and Associate Professor Zhang Yanping, visited Platform solar Almeria and solar thermal power plant (Termosolar Palma del Rio II) in Spain. They had discussion and exchange with specialists and representatives from technology research, manufacture, application related to solar thermal utilization.

　　Project team discussed contents of solar energy international cooperation project, cooperation model and budget with professor Didier Mayer in ParisTech, Professor Inmaculada Arauzo and Professor Cristobal Cortes in University of Zaragoza during the investigation.

　　Below is Dec 16th, 2014, project team was investigating tower solar, trough Solar, dish solar, linear Fresnel solar and solar furnace research platforms in Platform solar Almeria in Spain. As the world's leading solar thermal research platform, it provides essential research data and technical support to the construction of commercial power plant for Spain and other countries.

　　Below is December 17th, project team was investigating configuration of power plant system, control mode, visiting the power plant control room, steam turbine, heat exchangers, cooling towers, condensers and condensing lens trough field in trough solar thermal power plant Termosolar Palma del Rio II, Spain.

　　December 19th, project team in CIRCE research center at the University of Zaragoza, Spain.

　　This investigation has an important guiding significance and provides a reference in the research of solar thermal power for HUST, especially provides a good reference for the construction of our solar international cooperation project experimental platform. Through the in-depth communication, we reached a consensus of project contents, cooperation mode, and funds allocation with European partners, created favorable conditions for the smooth development of projects.
