ICARE Successfully Passed Assessment of China-Foreign Cooperative Education by Ministry of Education

  According to Ministry of Education [2014] No. 2109 notice, our institute (China-EU institute for clean and renewable energy) successfully passed 2014 China-Foreign cooperative education assessment.

  China-Foreign cooperative education assessment is a conformity assessment organized by Ministry of Education International Department and charged by graduate center. Program evaluation on China- Foreign cooperation education in bachelor and higher level was officially launched in 2013. Through comprehensive evaluations of self-assessment, online publicity, expert evaluation, student satisfaction surveys, investigations of social reputation, the assessment results are divided into qualified, conditional qualified and unqualified.

  Among them, “qualified” means "in line with foreign cooperative education policies and regulations, education results were quite good." This is the second nationwide assessment.

  China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy (hereinafter referred to as "institute") is an important part of China-EU higher education cooperation platform of China-EU high-level cultural exchange and dialogue mechanism subsequent project. It’s a major cooperative project of Chinese government and European Commission in the field of engineering education cooperation.

  Since formally approved its establishment by Ministry of Education on March 29th 2012, it becomes an important window for China’s energy project education to get in touch with Europe, strengthens cooperative education with European first class engineering education universities, promotes cooperation and exchange in the field of China-EU energy and environmental education and scientific research, and trains high-quality talents.

  According to the bilateral development strategy and overall development demand of institute, president of Huazhong University of Science&Technology Ding Lieyun, president of ParisTech Jean Philippe Vanot and president of MINES ParisTech Romain Soubeyran signed a memorandum of cooperation for sustainable development of institute and project extension on October 7th, 2014. We will continue make efforts to build a permanent institute in accordance with the requirements of China and Europe governments
