The "Red Pilot" Friendship activity was held on November 11^th, 2017in ICARE Building Room 314 with the strong support of the Student Party Branches of Journalism & Information Communication School and Management School.

In the beginning of the activity, LU Chen, The Party-building Work Responsible of ICARE Students Party Branch extended a warm welcome to the students from Journalism and Information Communication School and Management School. Then, Xiong Zhao,ICARE "Red Pilot" student representative gave a speech with the theme of "Promote innovation to make China more brilliant".

Liu Mingwei, a student representative from the School of Management, gave a speech entitled "The magnificent landscape and the ambitious youth ". He pointed out that we should keep our mission firmly in mind and work for the new requirements put forward by the 19^th CPC National Party Congress.

The "Red Pilot" student representatives of Journalism and Information Communication School shared their thoughts through four different aspects:  “Knowledge of the 19^th National Congress ", "News and Rule of Law", "Panorama of the 19^th National Congress", " media reportage on the 19th National Congress" . In their speeches, they pointed out that we should strengthen cultural confidence and promote prosperity of socialist culture.

At the end of this event, Lu Chen, introduced to the representatives of the two brother schools ICARE’s general situation, and running characteristics, major research directions and platform construction.
