ICARE team won awards in the "13th China Graduate Electronics Design Contest National Finals"

   From August 19th to 22nd, the final of “Giga Device Cup” the13th China Graduate Electronics Design Contest jointly sponsored by China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center of the Ministry of Education, Guiding Committee of the National Graduate Education Steering for Professional Engineering Degree and the Chinese Institute of Electronics was successfully held at Nanjing Tech University. The national finals attracted more than 360 college teams and nearly a thousand students stood out to participate in the contest. Among them, the team “Qiance” with ICARE student Liu Jiandong and Jiang Bingyi, got the business team national first prize and the most investment value prize Student Jiang Wenchao, as the captain, led the “Qiance” Technology team won the technical team national third prize .


   The entries of “Qiance” are “Qiance, Modular Engineering Safety Monitoring System”, which is divided into two teams of business group and technical group to participate in the contest. Based on the system construction of “Sensor + Communication Network + Background Analysis”, “Qiance” system can provide unified unmanned monitoring solutions for large-area, long-distance real-time monitoring such as power grids and tunnels. It has advantages like strong anti-interference ability, low development cost, high long-term monitoring accuracy, real-time monitoring, multi-terminal feedback, and strong endurance.

   It is reported that China Graduate Electronics Design Contest advocates and adheres to the purpose and direction of “high starting point, mainstreaming, focus on practice, and cultivating talents”. The contest covers major frontier disciplines in the field of electronic information, aiming to discover talents and innovation in innovative practice, cultivate talents in innovation. Since its launch in 1996 by Tsinghua University, the contest has been successfully held for thirteen sessions, covering more than 300 colleges and universities and thousands of teachers and students across the country. It is an effective platform for innovative awareness of postgraduate training in electronics-related disciplines, enhancing team spirit, finding gaps and improving for practical ability.
