“Facing the Future”-The first job training camp of ICARE has successfully completed

In order to let our students understand the basic process of job hunting, give them opportunities to communicate with senior HR in various fields, and improve their professional competitiveness, ICARE first job training camp has been held smoothly from August 1st to August 2nd. This training camp innovatively adopted the "online + offline" approach. From early registration to on-site experience, more than 100 students participated. Vice Dean Mr. Yi Hui, Employment Officer Ms. Li Xiaolin, Education Center Director Ms. Liu Yang, Student Affair Advisor Dr. Liang Yuanyuan, Research and Consulting Center Assistant Mr. Li Zhitian, and Class 2020 alumni Ms. Yang Jinhui attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Dr. Liang Yuanyuan.

At the opening ceremony of August 1, Ms. Li Xiaolin first gave a welcome speech on behalf of the school to the students who participated in the job-hunting training camp, and encouraged the students to actively participate in the training camp to develop comprehensive job-hunting skills. Afterwards, Ms. Yang Jinhui shared her job search experience, explicitly emphasized the importance of making a correct job search choice based on personal reality, interests and future career plans. Then, Dr. Liang Yuanyuan analyzed the employment situation in recent years and introduced the MBTI career personality test, Holland career interest test and WVI work values test to guide campers to recognize themselves. Finally, Mr. Li Zhitian explained the resume production and interview skills for the campers with the theme of "Listen to Me"-Job Search and Interview, and enthusiastically answered the campers' questions in detail.

The job hunting camp also arranged a specific practical link-discussion - unleaded group discussion. On the afternoon of August 1, two senior HR Ms. Chen Qingqing and Mr. Chen Peng from 51job.com led the campers to conduct three unleaded groups and made profound comments on their work. The campers expressed that they have gained a lot from this exercise.

On the morning of August 2, Ms. Chen Qingqing, Ms. Cao Lin and Mr. Chen Peng, three senior HRs, have conducted one-to-one interviews with campers, and then gave commences and advises to their resumes and interview process. Afterwards, Ms. Chen Qingqing presented her understanding on the essence of job hunting and introduced the evasion and solutions to common questions in job interviews. She encouraged the campers to relax in job hunting process, and gain dream offer in their future.


In the afternoon, Mr. Jiang Jibing, a 2016 alumnus and the director of battery R&D department of Huizhou Yiwei Lithium Energy Co., Ltd., based on the analysis of employment trends in the energy and electrical industry in the post-epidemic era, and his own job search and promotion experience, put forward valuable suggestions for campers on job search. Mr. Jiang Jibing advised every camper to continuously grasp the current industry dynamics and maximize their learnings in job hunting.

The first job training camp of ICARE has successfully ended on August 2nd. The campers said that although the two-day training camp is a test of both mental and physical fitness, they have gained a lot from this experience. Through two days of practical learning, they have more in-depth understanding of job-hunting, and gained valuable job search skills.
