On October 16, 2020, Professor Zhao Yanzhi, the President of Shenyang University, came to our institute for a visit. Professor Xu Xiaodong, the Vice President of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and Professor Luo Xiaobing, the dean of the School of Energy and Power Engineering and the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy participated in the discussions.
Professor Xu Xiaodong extended a warm welcome to Professor Zhao Yanzhi and his colleagues, and introduced the development history of our university and the construction of scientific research platform, interdisciplinary construction, and international campus construction works. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on the construction of double first-class disciplines, the preparation of the "14th Five-Year Plan", the construction and management of interdisciplinary research institutes, the transformation of scientific research results, and international cooperation with foreign universities.
Before the meeting, Professor Zhao Yanzhi and colleagues visited the State Key Laboratory of Material Processing and Die&Mould Technology, and the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology.
