On December 18, 2020, Liang Yuanyuan, student affair advisor of ICARE, and Li Zhi, advisor of School of Energy and Power Engineering, led the national award winners of the two schools to carry out practical research activities in Xiaogan CGN New Energy Technology Service Center, where students have gained deeper understandings of CGN and the trend of CGN new energy from Daya Bay.

Mr Ren Zhaowen (HUST alumni), the Director of CGN new energy technology service center, introduced some further details on the center to our students. The center covers four modules of "technical supervision and certification, spare parts maintenance and storage, big data storage and calculation, and new energy college training".

Students had some close contact with first phase projects of the technical service center and observed how a new energy enterprise can regenerate the local economic integration and long-term development.
