On the afternoon of April 28th, our university held an online meeting with MINES ParisTech. Representatives of both sides held friendly consultations on the cooperation and co-construction of ICARE. Dr. Chen Jie, Director of International Affairs Office, Prof. Luo Xiaobing, Chinese Dean of ICARE, and Mr. Ren Yu, Vice Dean of ICARE, attended the meeting.
Prof. Frédéric Fontane, Deputy director in charge of education at MINES ParisTech and Dr. Chen Jie respectively introduced the planning and vision for the next stage of ICARE, while Prof. Luo Xiaobing presented the situation of talent training. Representatives of the two sides discussed issues such as promoting the extension of school running levels and strengthening the industrial cooperation. Both sides expressed the will of closer contact, strengthening cooperation and creating a new chapter in the development of ICARE.
