At 8:30 am on June 22, 2021-HUST Graduate Commencement and Degree Granting Ceremony were held in the Optic Valley Stadium.

Shao Xinyu, the Chair of University Council, issued certificates to outstanding graduates and graduates who went to the Western poor areas, grassroots units and key state units for employment. Ma Sijie, a student of our institute, took the stage to accept the commendation as the representative of outstanding graduates.

President Li Yuanyuan delivered a speech entitled "let youth bloom for the motherland and the people". He hoped that the graduate students would bear in mind the teachings of their alma mater in their future life, continue the red gene of HUST, carry forward the school motto Virtue Erudition Truth Innovation, cultivate the feelings of home and country, build a solid moral foundation, carry forward the spirit of innovation, and stick to practical work.

One by one, VCRs are playing on the big screen, cheering and inspiring, and "singing the motherland" resounds through the auditorium.

During the degree granting ceremony, Xie Zhengxue, deputy chair of the University Council, and Luo Xiaobing, Chinese Dean of our institute, respectively conferred  degrees to our graduates one by one, turned the tassels, shook hands and took group photos.
