On December 28th, 2016, ICARE delegation visited Sino - French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration city. ICARE Chinese co-dean Prof. Luo Xiaobing, Chinese executive director Mr.Yi Hui, director of ICARE research and consulting center Prof. Hu Song and director of education center Ms. Liu Yang attended the visiting. Sino - French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration city is located between Wuhan Airport Economic Development Zone, Wuhan Economic Development Zone and Caidian Economic Development Zone. In accordance with the standards of "world-class", Sino - French Wuhan Ecological Demonstration city will follow the principles of globalization, modernization, specialization, regionalization and localization, it determines the development orientation as follows: Sino-China low carbon cooperation and technology exchange platform; China's new model of urbanization; National eco-friendly industrial demonstration base; Ecological livable demonstration area. In the future, Sino-French Ecological Demonstration City will be built into a city of Sino-French cooperation, a city of low-carbon demonstration, a city of industrial innovation and a livable city, to provide exemplary significance for creating a harmonious society and sustainable development with Chinese characteristics .
