ParisTech guests visited the key laboratories of HUST

From March 25th to 26th, 2013, Mr. Jean-Philippe VANOT, President of ParisTech and Mr. Radjesvarane ALEXANDRE, Director of Studies and International Affairs for ParisTech, were invited to attend the graduation ceremony of Class 2014.

On March 25th, accompanied by Pr. Hu Song, director of ICARE Research Centre, Mr. ALEXANDRE visited the Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) research center. On March 26, Mr. VANOT and Mr. ALEXANDRE paid a visit to Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center. Presented during were also Mr. Marc BOUDIOU, Scientific attaché of French consulate in Wuhan, Mr. HE Gang, Deputy Director of International Office in HUST and Mr. Michel AUBLANT, ICARE European Executive Director.

In the afternoon of March 26th, Mr. VANOT had a short but friendly meeting with Pr. LUO Qingming, Vice President of HUST. The exchange focused on promoting the cooperation between HUST and ParisTech through ICARE programme and exploring new cooperation opportunities. Later the two ParisTech guests had a face to face discussion with over 40 ICARE students. They expressed best wishes to the graduates and welcomed all ICARE graduates to join the ParisTech Alumni Family. In the evening, Mr. VANOT also met Pr. LI Peigen, President of HUST in airport before leave Wuhan.

Mr. VANOT was elected as ParisTech president on May 31st, 2013 and officially took up his post on September 1st, 2013. Mr. VANOT spent his career at the France Télécom-Orange Group. This is his first visit to Wuhan.
