In the evening of January 13, 2013, at 7pm, ICARE held the New Year party in the teacher’s club, with the theme of “Youth Mission”. Prof. HUANG Shuhong, ICARE Chinese Dean, Prof. Michel FARINE, ICARE European Dean, Mr. FENG Xiaodong, deputy secretary of school of Energy and Power Engineering, 6 ICARE European lecturers and all administrative staffs took part in the party.

A New Year salutatory VCR from the both Chinese and European faculties, administrative staffs and students of ICARE started the party, followed by a magnificent dragon dance show. Then Prof. Michel FARINE and Mr. FENG Xiaodong addressed separately their New Year greeting, and gave great hopes to students, and ICARE. Then all participants enjoyed wonderful performance which was wrote and acted by students, including jazz dance, opusculum, songs, crosstalk, etc. The world known song "Gangnan Style" was also acted by students.

As an international institute, at present ICARE have 2 German students and 1 French student. The 3 international students also showed by reciting ancient Chinese poem “Visiting Flower Market in Spring Festival”, accompanied by guitar, which instanced the blend between western and eastern, modern and ancient.

It was the first time for ICARE to hold this kind of party. And it proved a good success.
