On the afternoon of November 14, Mr. George Kariniotakis, Head of Research Group « Renewable Energies and SmartGrids – ERSEI » at MINES ParisTech and Senior Scientist of Centre for Energy & Processes at MINES ParisTech, attended the academic exchange meeting in the meeting room 222 of the West Building No. 9 and visited School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

The academic exchange meeting was presided over by Professor Mao Chengxiong, Vice-dean of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering; and Doctor Hu Jiabin and student representatives of this school as well as Professor Hu Song, director of Research Centre of ICARE, were present as well. At the meeting, amicable and animated discussions were carried out in terms of grid integration of smart grid, micro-grid and clean and renewable energy.

After the exchange meeting, accompanied by the staff, Mr. George Kariniotakis visited relevant laboratories of School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
