On the afternoon of December 11th, 2017, the Dean of the Chemical Engineering School Prof. Norazah Abd Rahman and Assoc. Prof. Syed Hassan from the MARA University of Technology as well as Assoc. Prof. Karnowo and Assoc.Prof Samsudin Anis from the University of Gadjah Mada visited ICARE and had an exchange meeting with Vice-Dean Mr.YI Hui, Research Center Director Prof. HU Song and Education Center Director Mrs. LIU Yang. This meeting was also attended by Assoc.Prof.WANG Yi and lecturer Dr. LI Jiashuo from the School of Energy and Power Engineering.
On behalf of the Institute, Vice-Dean Mr.YI Hui firstly extended a warm welcome to the experts and shared with them the achievements gained by the Institute in its previous years’ operation. Then, Mrs.LIU Yang introduced the background and development roadmap of the Institute, she explained in detail ICARE’s Double Master Degree Program. The visitors showed their great interest on the Institute’s training program and raised some specific questions concerning the duration of the studies, scholarship application and admission process of international candidates. They hoped that more Malaysian and Indonesian students would be engaged in this very attractive program of ICARE.
Prof.HU Song enumerated the achievements of ICARE in terms of international cooperation.
This meeting ended up with the presentation of Dr.LI Jiashuo on his research field and the participants had the chance to exchange on energy policy and new energy perspective.
