On December 7th 2019, Prof. Hu Song, director of ICARE research center and Ms. Liu Yang, director of ICARE education center participated in "Sino-French Engineering Education Exchange and Cooperation Forum" hosted by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Experts from Tongji University, the Sino-French Institute of Nuclear Engineering and Technology of Sun Yat-sen University, the Sino-French Engineering School of Beihang University (Central Pekin) and other joint institutions attended the forum. Participants discussed enthusiastically around the educational model of Sino-French Engineer School, the construction of the internationalized Teaching Team, and the institutional governance system.

Presently, China has established 14 Sino-French cooperative education institutions and more than 20 Sino-French cooperative projects, among which engineering education cooperation is the most important part. The theme of this forum is "exchanging cooperation experience and improving school running level", focusing on the key issues of engineering education cooperation between China and France, aiming at finding feasible problem solutions, sharing school running experience, and jointly improving the level of education.
