On the afternoon of November 16, Professor Hu Song, director of the Research Center of the China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy, accompanied the delegation of professors from the School of Energy and Power Engineering to visit Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University for academic reports and exchange activities. Li Puming, Dean of the School of Water Conservancy and Civil Engineering, Vice Deans Yi Hui (on secondment from ICARE) and Wang Peiqing, and some professors warmly received and participated in the exchange event.

Professor Hu Song gave an academic report on the topic of "New Biomass Pyrolysis Technology with Concentrating Solar Energy Efficiency". In his report, he introduced in detail the construction of a light-concentrating synergistic coupled pyrolysis system, and preliminary research on the thermal conversion process of biomass under concentrated heating conditions; introduced the analysis based on the interaction between pyrolysis oil components, and proposed the heat preparation of pyrolysis oil The new approach of high value-added carbon materials and the proposal of nickel-based catalytic pyrolysis oil reforming to produce hydrogen-rich gas and carbon nanotubes provide new ideas for high-quality utilization. At the same time, it was pointed out that the use of solar energy and biomass energy in Tibet can effectively improve the production and life of farmers and herdsmen, and it is also conducive to the use of waste in agricultural production and daily life.

During the exchange of this academic report, Professor Hu Song put forward some suggestions on how to further efficiently utilize the abundant resources such as photothermal biomass in Tibet and conducted in-depth exchanges with professors and students of Tibet Agriculture and Animal Husbandry University.
