On November 3, 2021, ICARE was awarded the 2021 Gold Standard Internship Host issued by the University of Oxford . Since 2013, a total of 187 Oxford University students have applied for the "HUST - Oxford" Summer Camp Project jointly carried out by ICARE and the Careers Service of Oxford University, and 56 students have finally participated in the Project, of which 36 have received full funding from Oxford University and 17 have received full funding from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. As the host of the project, ICARE organized a variety of summer camp activities with its own distinctive characteristics under the guidance of the university leaders, the full assistance of administration departments including the School of International Education as well as the strong support of the Chinese tutors, which were highly praised by Oxford University and participating students. The "HUST - Oxford" Summer Camp Project has become a bridge for cultural exchanges between the two universities and an important carrier for promoting mutual understanding between the Chinese and British people.
