On the afternoon of April 8, Mr. Maxime ferraille, the Higher Education - research and innovation specialist of the Consulate General of the Republic of France in Wuhan, Ms. Li Dan,Higher Education Cooperation Project Officer , Ms. Li Shanshan,Science and Technology Project Cooperation Officer, and Ms. Sabine Lu, General Manager of French higher education agency visited Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST). They held a meeting on the education and scientific research cooperation between HUST and France with representatives from the Office of International Affairs,Research Development Office and other relevant unites of HUST.Dr. Zou Mingqing, the vice dean of ICARE, and Ms. Xie Chunhua, the secretary of the Chinese dean, participated in the meeting.

At this meeting, Dr. Zou introduced the current situation and development plan of ICARE, and shared the experience of 2019 students studying in France. During the exchange, the two parts had a intensive discussion on how to further expand the cooperation in ICARE, to enhance the exchange of visits between Chinese and French teachers and students, and to strengthen college enterprise cooperation and collaborative education on the basis of existing cooperation.

Mr. Maxime ferraille expressed his appreciation for the achievements made by HUST and the University of Arts and Sciences of Paris. He thanked ICARE for its work in promoting the cooperation in education and scientific research between China and France and the integration of people to people in cultural exchanges. He said that he will try his best to support the current and future development of ICARE.
