On the evening of July 5, the two-day lasting 2022 ICARE Academic Summer Camp was completed successfully. 41 outstanding students from various universities  across the country participated in the summer camp.

At the opening ceremony of the summer camp on the afternoon of the 4th, Professor Luo Xiaobing, the Chinese Dean, gave a brief introduction from the aspects of ICARE’s history, objectives and advantages. He hoped that through this summer camp, the participants could personally experience the advantages of our faculty and scientific atmosphere of ICARE. He also welcomed and encouraged the participants to apply for ICARE’s master program. Professor Michel Farine, the European Dean welcomed the participants on behalf of ICARE. He introduced the development trend of energy industries and concluded that the demand for talents in new energy sector is becoming more and more urgent. He also encourages the participants to devote themselves to the construction of the new energy industry.

Dr. Zou Mingqing, the Vice Dean, Ms. Liu Yang, the Director of the Education Center, Ms. Zhao Yiting, the Officer of Student Affairs, also attended the ceremony and gave speeches.

On the evening of the 4th, representatives of ICARE students has communicated with the participants about courses, living environment, research progress, etc.

On the morning of the 5th, 11 supervisors from different research directionsof ICARE have delivered keynote speeches to the participants. On the afternoon of the 5th, the participants has went through interviews by group.

Finally, 2022 ICARE

Academic Summer Camp was successfully concluded on the evening of July 5.
