The department where I interned was the Energy Division of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and my main job was to assist in the promotion of projects. During the internship, I mainly participated in three works: International Small Hydropower Report 2022, United Nations International Chinese Language Day, and International Hydrogen Energy Center Expert Group meeting.

As a student majoring in science and engineering, my first job was to build the database of "World Small Hydropower Report 2022" and write the summary column of the database. This job not only enabled me to get familiar with the professional knowledge, but also improved my report writing ability.

The United Nations International Chinese Language Day was the most interesting activity I participated in during my internship. The event, held annually at the United Nations, aims to showcase Chinese culture to the world, promote exchanges among civilizations and highlight the diversity and inclusiveness of the world. The theme of this year's Chinese Language Day is "Colorful Yunnan: Shared by the World". It not only showcases the beautiful mountains and rivers of Yunnan, but also presents the beauty of diverse cultures, green ecology, harmony, unity, openness and inclusiveness. These are not only the epitome of China in the new era, but also the Yunnan chapter of the Chinese dream.

In June of this year, UNIDO will organize an expert group meeting of the International Centre for Hydrogen Energy, and I am assisting with the agenda for the overall meeting, expert group contacts and the compilation of information on the latest developments in hydrogen energy.

In my opinion, Life is a journey, you never know what kind of journey it will be, just enjoy the feeling on the road. Since my flight to Vienna in December 2021, I have been working as an intern in UNIDO for five months. Every day of my internship in UNIDO and every work and activity I participated in have been full of interesting and rewarding experiences. I am very grateful for the opportunity to practice in UNIDO  I am also very grateful for the support of HUST and ICARE, so that I can see and understand the world from a world-wide stage.
