Looking back to the past year of studying aboard, I filled with emotion. I would like to express my sincere thanks for this opportunity provided by ICARE, which has enabled me to have a wonderful experience.

The first half year was full of freshness. The course pressure was not so great, and the classroom atmosphere was relatively casual and free. The teacher's lecture was mainly about introduction and most of the class time was group working. It is a great sense of accomplishment to form a team with students from different countries and communicate with them to complete the homework. In addition to the main course, there are additional language courses.

In the second half of the year, I was fortunate enough to secure my internship very quickly, accepting an experimental subject at the IFFI Refrigeration Laboratory of the National Paris Institute of Technology. The internship site was located in the center of Paris, surrounded by many scenic spots, and I often hung around here in my spare time after lunch. I visited the Louvre Museum alone five times, but I was not able to fully appreciate the masterpieces inside. The atmosphere of the laboratory is also very good, everyone is very kind to me. However, the development of the internship work is not as smooth as expected, many expected plans are difficult to achieve. The continuous improvement and modification of the experimental equipment, and some objective factors have added great resistance to the practice, so that when I write this summary, I am still in the difficult period of the experiment.

This year in Paris will be a precious memory for me. Coming back to China soon, I miss the people and things here, but more importantly, I am looking forward to see my family, friends and teachers again, to show them the growth of this year aboard has brought me.
