On September 19, 2020, I boarded a plane bound for Paris and officially started my one-year study in France. I went to Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL) Research University for exchange semester together with 9 other classmates. According to the latest QS Global School Rankings, PSL has been ranked among the top 50 schools in the world and has been ranked as the best school in France.
Since the arrival date was one week later than the official opening date, we quickly entered the intense study while learning the knowledge of the course. Thanks to the all-English teaching in the first year of ICARE, we can quickly adapt to the teaching mode here. Even under the conditions of online courses, students are still actively communicating and collision sparks of ideas. What impressed me most was when I worked on a Project with foreign students, I found they had many ideas, which were very efficient. Most of the foreign students were familiar with many software and programming languages. I learned a lot from them.
Of course, in addition to studying, I also took a walk in the streets of Paris with our friends. We went to the Louvre, Pompidou and other famous museums. I am grateful to have this opportunity, and ICARE has always support us, not only on the economically, but also mentally. Teachers will communicate with the overseas students on a regular basis, to understand each person's situation and help us for internship, accommodation, scholarship, and so on. ICARE gave us great help
