On September 28, 2022, Associate professor Dimitrios BOURIS from NTUA presented a lecture titled "Physical Modeling of the Wind -- how and why do we create the wind in the lab?" on the MS Teams. More than 130 teachers and students of the college participated in the online lectures.

Dr. Zou Ming Qing, the vice dean of ICARE, delivered the opening speech. Then Associate Professor Dimitrios BOURIS began his lecture with the application of wind engineering research, illustrating the limitations of full-scale measurement research and the advantages of using physical models and numerical simulations.

At the last, students raised a few questions on "problems in the modeling of real wind power projects", "obstacles and difficulties encountered in the development of wind power", and "the development of wind power technology". Associate Professor Dimitrios BOURIS patiently answered each of these questions.
