The first Teachers' Salon of ICARE was successfully held

To create an atmosphere of openness, integration, innovation and development, and promote continuous exchanges between tutors of ICARE, on the afternoon of March 16, 2023, the first teachers' Salon of ICARE was held in Lecture Hall s311 of the Clean Energy Building. Prof. Luo Xiaobing, the Chinese dean, Dr. Zou Mingqing, the vice dean, Prof. Hu Song, the director of the Research Center, Ms. Liu Yang, the director of the Education Center, Dr. Zheng Jing, the director of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Center, and nearly 50 Chinese tutors participated in this activity.



 

Prof. Luo Xiaobing briefly reviewed the development history and school-running characteristics of ICARE and analyzed the challenges and opportunities faced. He emphasized that ICARE always adheres to the fundamental mission of cultivating virtues and fostering talents and striving to cultivate international talents of new energy science. He expected that through such activities, ICARE would build better communication platforms for the tutors, and work together to contribute to the construction of a high-level Chinese-foreign cooperative school.

 

Dr. Zou Mingqing pointed out that the tutor is the main body of teaching and the guide of students' whole career construction, who plays an important role in the construction and development of ICARE. Afterward, Ms. Liu Yang introduced the work arrangement and postgraduates recruitment policy of ICARE, and Prof. Hu Song shared his experience in the application of international cooperation projects, exchange and cooperation between tutors, and transformation of scientific research achievements. Dr. Zheng Jing introduced the school-enterprise cooperation Center, which assists the tutor in the establishment of enterprise projects and the transformation of scientific research achievements.

 

In the free exchange session, the participants had in-depth exchanges with the interested parties. This activity enhanced the communication and interaction between tutors and further promoted the development of ICARE.
