ICARE held a clay-making activity in the Clean Energy Building S309 on July 7 with the participation of about 20 ICARE’s master students and Oxford Summer Campers. The activity takes "the integration of tradition and innovation" as the core concept. By making clay works of the zodiac, the activity can enhance foreign students' understanding of traditional Chinese culture, enhance the friendship between students, and enrich students' extracurricular life.

Ms. Feng Man explained to the students how to make a good clay craft and the knowledge about the traditional Chinese zodiac. She shared the tips and precautions for making clay crafts and instructed the students on how to make a vivid image of the Chinese zodiac. The students gained key clay-making skills and an in-depth understanding of the zodiac during the activity, which stimulated their creative passion and interest in traditional culture.

The success of the clay-making activity has built a platform for students at home and abroad to understand and experience Chinese culture. ICARE continues to promote international cultural exchange and friendship and provide students with more meaningful activities and opportunities.
