On October 24, 2023, ICARE and Plastic Omnium held a school-enterprise cooperation meeting. The meeting was attended by representatives from both sides, including Johana CHEN, the Asia HR Manager of New Energy Division of Plastic Omnium, Jeremy WAHL, the Asia Regional Manager of HPS Development Technology Center, Guo Honghong, the China HR Representative of New Energy Division of Plastic Omnium, Sun Yingfeng, the Leader of VE/R&D Center, Zou Ming Qing, the Vice-dean of ICARE, Li Song, an Associate Professor, and other faculty members.

Dr. Zou welcomed Ms. Johana CHEN and her delegation and introduced ICARE in detail. He expressed his willingness to discuss talent training and school-enterprise cooperation with Plastic Omnium. Johana spoke about the New Energy Division, which is a young and booming department that aligns with ICARE's orientation. Both sides agreed to collaborate on talent training and scientific research cooperation through internship projects. Dr. Zou pointed out that internship cooperation could enhance mutual understanding and recognition between students and enterprises. He emphasized the need for joint efforts from both schools and enterprises to help students gain practical experience outside of the campus.

Mr. Jeremy Wahl provided an overview of the scientific research history and main characteristics of the New Energy Division. He suggested some internship practice ideas, and Ms. Sun Yingfeng discussed internship topics with ICARE students.

The meeting deepened mutual understanding and discussed the creation of internship practice projects. The two sides agreed to establish a long-term communication mechanism and elaborate on internship practice topics.
