From March 25th, 2013 to April 4th, 2013, the Master 1 (class 2014) course "Fundamentals of Geothermal Energy" was taught by lecturers from La Sapienza University.

Introduction to the Course:

Part 1: This Course provides an introductionabout characteristicsand types of geothermal systems, properties of geothermal fluids, scope ofgeothermal projects, introduction to geothermal exploration (geological andgeophysical methods)

Part 2: This part of the Course providesan introduction to drilling of geothermal wells, well logging and testing,exploitation of the geothermal resource, environmental impacts
