COURSE TITLE: Electricity efficiency

This Course provides: 1) An introduction to the concepts of energy savings, losses and demand-side management. 2) A detailed review of the potential of energy savings and determination of electric losses; 3) Application of improving the efficiency in electrical power plants, renewable systems, consumptions in equipment, and losses in conductors, distribution systems, electrical motors and transformers

Course Aims/课程目标:
The aims of this Course are to:
● Give the theoretical basis of the analysis of energy efficiency in electrical systems.
● Introduce the concepts of energy savings, losses, demand-side management. Provide the basic
tools to carry out electrical energy efficiency calculations and optimization of systems to supply electricity, including renewable sources
