COURSE TITLE: Energy Efficiency fundamentals

Introduction to the Course/课程介绍:

This course introduces thermodynamics and how it is used to achieve Energy efficiency in several sectors. Applied cases on building environment, thermal networks, power plants and heavy industry are presented.

Course Aims/课程目标: The aims of this Course are to:

·         Apply thermodynamics to energy efficiency and harvest energy losses

·         Introduce challenges on several sectors and how energy efficiency is considered in each of them

·         Introduce a global overview of energy efficiency, economics, regulatory frameworks

By the end of this course students should have gained:
