COURSE TITLE : Introduction to RE

Introduction to the Course/课程介绍(part I):

This Course is dedicated to a general introduction to Energy with a special focus on climate change, the renewable Energy market, and perspectives. The course introduces the different forms of energy and the related units. Then it focuses on the Renewable Energy development perspectives followed by the presentation of wind and solar technologies etc.

本课程致力于对能源进行一般性介绍，特别关注气候变化、可再生能源市场和前景。本课程介绍了不同形式的能源和相关单位。重点介绍可再生能源的发展前景，然后介绍风能和太阳能技术等。

Introduction to the Course/课程介绍(part II):

This Course is dedicated to a general introduction to science base of climate change, Global Challenges and perspectives. The course introduces Corporate Social Responsibility and Alternative Energies.

本课程分为两部分：一、致力于对气候变化的科学基础，全球挑战和前景的进行一般性介绍；二、介绍企业社会责任和替代能源。

Course Aims/课程目标: The aims of this Course are to:

·         Introduce the science base of climate change and carbon cycle.

·         Introduce the different forms of energy, the different units used and make the difference between primary and final energy.

·         Understand the potential and limitations of the Renewable Energy market.

By the end of this Course students should have gained:
