  1.Objectives

  As one of the core parts of ICARE,the objectives of the vocational training are:

  Ø to provide intensive and specialized training to satisfy the specific needs of professionals from the renewable energy sector;

  Ø to help both the domestic and international companies to adapt to the new trends in the current ever-changing and complex market related to new energies;

  Ø to promote the exchanges and co-operations of new technologies and equipments between EU and China in the renewable energy field;

  ü Selected european vocational training experts and project experiences

  ü Intensive and Specialized training courses customized to the specific needs of the trainees

  ü Establish Chinese training teams familiar with European training methods

  3.Working flow chart

  Step 1 : Survey for chinese training markets and target company needs.

  Step 2 : Selecting european vocational training experts and experienced training programmes.

  Step 3 : Implementation of the training programmes.

  After surveying for the chinese training markets and target company needs, the following tracks are proposed :

  TRACK 1: POSSIBLE OPTIONS FOR WIND ENERGY

  Module 1.1: Wind resource evaluations and energy prediction

  1. Recent developments in EU on wind resource evaluations and placement verification following IEC regulations.

  2. Wind measurement and energy prediction tools,automating tools to deal with individual wind power data.

  3. Procedures for micrositing, optimal micrositing according to the classification of the site and of the wind turbine model to be installed.

  4. Computer simulation software.

  Module 1.2: Preventive maintenance of wind farms

  1. EU experiences on the performance of wind turbines and wind farms.

  2. Models and the simulation of different technologies for wind turbines and farms, and of any electric/electronic systems.
