Dean joint committee of China-Foreign cooperative education institution was held in German cultural center at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology on Nov 21st 2014. Leaders of China Education Association for International Exchange and non-independent China-Foreign cooperative education institutions participated in the committee. Our Chinese dean Huang Shuhong and executive director Yi-hui attended the workshop.
Participants had an in-depth and detailed discussion on job function of dean joint committee, information technology and etc. Secretariat introduced the compilation of work newsletter and information officers’ work. They also made an exploration on how to carry out further work and content.
Dean joint Committee of China-Foreign cooperative education institution is established under the guidance of the Ministry of Education International Cooperation and Exchange Division, initiated by 10 organizations of Beihang Sino-French Engineering School, Surry International Institute at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, Sino-Dutch Biomedical and Information Engineering School at Northeastern University, Southeast University-Monash University Joint Graduate School(Suzhou), China-EU Institute for Clean and Renewable Energy at Huazhong University of Science& Technology, Sino-German College at University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, Chinese-Deutsches Center at Tongji University Sino-Danish Center at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Sino-European Institute of Aviation Engineering and China-EU School of Law at China University of Political Science and Law.
Dean joint committee aims to promote the healthy development of non-independent legal China-Foreign cooperative education institutions, force the cohesion of non-independent legal China-foreign cooperative education institutions and to accelerate China’s higher education internationalization process.
The second dean joint committee of China-Foreign cooperative education institution & International Cooperation Education Symposium (tentative name) will be held in ICARE in May 2015.
