On April 10th, the 2nd ICARE General Assembly meeting was held in our institute. Organized by the project office in ParisTech, this meeting had following attendees: Prof. Didier MAYER, ICARE project coordinator, Prof. Michel FARINE, European dean of ICARE , Prof. HUANG Shuhong, Chinese dean of ICARE, Mr. HE Gang, deputy director of HUST International Office,Prof. CHENG Xiaomin, vice dean of School of Materials Science and Engineering of WHUT, Prof. XIONG Hongqi, vice dean ofGraduate School of Southeast University, Prof. Antonio VALERO, general director of CIRCE in University of Zaragoza, Mr.Quentin FALCOZ from University of Perpignan, Mrs. Mariagrazia ELEUTERI from University of Rome, and Prof. Robert MILES from Northumbria University. Staffs from ICARE institute and project office also took part in the meeting.

As introductory part for the discussions, Prof. Michel FARINE gave a presentation of the institute (main part of ICARE project) achievements and main problems to be solved to reach sustainability. The GA had deep discussions on the changes to bilateral agreements, financial report for the past year, annual budget, work plan, strategic actions and Project Extension. At the end, some final decisions and validation got vote through.
