On July 7th, with the support of the French Consulate General (FCG) in Wuhan, Mr. Daniel Champlon, Director International Relations Division and Ms. Isabelle Morelon, PhD, Deputy Director International Relations Division from IFP Energies Nouvelles visited ICARE. Mr. Marc BONDIOU, Attaché for Science and Technology, FCG and Mr. Eric MOLAY, Attaché for university cooperation, FCG accompanied them on the visit.

The guests were warmly welcomed by Prof. Michel FARINE, ICARE European Dean, Prof. HU Song, Director of Reseach & Consulting Centre, and two ICARE Chinese tutors, Prof. GU Yanlong from School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Prof. LIU Zhaohui from State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion.

After the short exchange meeting, the guests visited the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering and the Carbon Capture & Sequestration (CCS) research center.
