The second course on green building & LEED certification was successfully held by ICARE on September 24th to 27th. Our institute invited Mr. Alberto Jáñez from CIRCE, Zaragoza University, the project manager in “Sustainable building” research project , as our European trainer. Dr. XU Hai Qing, Director of Construction Project in Wuhan Urban and Rural Construction Commission was also invited as Chinese trainer. The trainees were mainly from the construction, urban design, finance and other related industries in Wuhan.

　　During the training, Dr. Xu Haiqing clarified the latest 5 years national & provincial policies on energy efficiency and green building, the existing situation of building energy conservation and green building in Wuhan, then he made a profound predictive interpretation of green building development trends in Wuhan,

　　Mr. Alberto Jáñez explained the basic knowledge of the green building, including sustainable site, water using efficiency, energy & atmosphere, material & resources, Indoor environment information He also explained the LEED certification exam in details.

　　On September 27th morning, Mr. Alberto Jáñez guided trainees to visit LEED building of Shanghai General Motors Wuhan branch in Jiangxia District of Wuhan.
