From July 9th to 31st, 35 students led by Dr. Joanna P.R.B. DAUDT from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in Netherlands came to ICARE and had a 1-month summer internship. The programme was co-hosted by China University of Geosciences (CUG) and HUST and undertaken in ICARE, mainly aiming at clean and renewable energy study and city/university/lab visit.

In the Opening Ceremony on July 9th, Staffs from CUG International Education College and Faculty of Engineering, HUST School of International Education, and ICARE welcome the delegation. Then on July 17th, TU Delft Professor Thijs J.H. VLUGT and the delegation lead teacher had exchange with ICARE Education center and students representatives. Prof. VLUGT said he was satisfied about the internship situation, which not only increased students’ professional ability, but also contributed to the exchange in field of clean and renewable energy between two universities. He also welcomed our students in HUST to study and exchange in TU Delft.
