Our institute welcomed the Class 2015 new students on the morning of August 31st, with the participation of most staffs.

Mr. Michel Aublant, European executive director of ICARE, gave a speech firstly to congratulate every student to join the double-master in ICARE, on behalf of ICARE European co-dean professor Michel FARINE. Mr. Aublant told the young students that they are joining a very exciting Master degree, firstly strongly backed by Huazhong famous School of Energy and Power Engineering which give to China many of its top engineers in energy fields, and secondly is benefiting of the expertise of 10 European universities in Clean and Renewable Energy. He also stressed that having a diploma of ParisTech meant to join the ParisTech alumni club of two hundred thousand members among which three thousand in China. Michel Aublant, who is in charge of relationship with industry, concluded in saying to the students that his office is largely open to help them to know more about the industrial world.

Then Pr. HUANG Shuhong, ICARE Chinese co-dean raised two questions to all the students for hoping them think about those questions seriously during the master’s study. And he encouraged the freshmen to exchange with tutors and schoolmates in China and foreign countries as much as they can. In the end, Prof. HUANG showed his expect to all that they could enhance the comprehensive ability, besides technical expertise learning, and strive to become a leader in the future energy sector.
