The French Prime Minister Jean-Marc Ayrault, visited Wuhan on 7th of December 2013.

A dinner was hosted by LI Hongzhong, Secretary CPC, Hubei Province since 2010 and Member 18th CPC, central Committee since 2012.

The main topic discussed was the partnership between Hubei and France on the subject of sustainable urban development, with specific involvement in Tianhe Airport multi-modal hub and Caidian district urban development.

ICARE was invited to the event. The institute should find a role to play in the partnership.
