On December 27th, 12 students from Class 2012 who did master research internships in European Partner Universities talked about their experiences in Room 217, West fifth Building.
The 12 students were: ZHAO Wenhao, who was in Northumbria University in UK, YAO Yao, LI Yu and WANG Qi, in University of Zaragoza in Spain, ZHOU Fangmao, SHI Lu and CHEN Fan, in National Technical University of Athens in Greece and WANG Xiang, in Mines ParisTech, Sophia Branch, WU Yimei, LEI Jun, in ENSTA ParisTech, WU Zhilin, in Mines ParisTech, Paris Branch, and TAN Xi, in Polytechnique Paristech, all in France.
The speeches mainly focused on internship subjects, research environments, and living in Europe. The speakers also compared the difference between research atmosphere in China and abroad, and stressed their gains from this experience. Meanwhile, they displayed impressive pictures of exotic life and described what attention should be given when applying for visas. All audience was caught by speaker’s vivid presentation.
In the Q&A link, the speakers answered questions concerning transportation, schedule, living cost, lodging, food, campus environment, research subjects, etc. in Europe. ICARE staffs also participated the meeting and discussed some of the renewable energy research results of Europe with speakers.
The success of this meeting showed the fruitful internship achievements in European partner universities, enlarged audience’s view and encouraged other students to study harder to get same precious opportunity.
