On the morning of June 15, Mr. Jean-Jacques LE NORMENT, the Deputy Director of Brittany’s Economic Agency, the Leader of Development of the Brest Harbor, and the Regional Coordinator of Renewable Energy Resources in Ocean, paid a friendly visit to School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering of our university, accompanied by the Director of Research Center Hu Song, Chinese Executive Director Yi Hui, and Director of Education Center Liu Yang.

Vice Dean Li Weijia of the School of Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering received Mr. LE NORMENT and held a brief meeting. In the meeting, Vice Dean Li Weijia presented related situations of the School, and Mr. LE NORMENT talked about the frontier oceanic renewable energy technologies and their market and prospects in the world. Then, guided by the Vice Dean Li Weijia, Mr. LE NORMENT visited the underwater structure laboratory of ship and ocean engineering.
