In the afternoon of October 23, an exchange was held for all ICARE students byProfessor HUANG Shuhong, the Chinese Dean of ICARE. Prof. HUANG started thediscussion with talking about youth’s attitudes toward career, careerorientation and planning, faith and pursuit in work. The speech was illustratedby vivid stories and humorous quotes, which made the exchange quite interestingto follow up. Later, Prof. HUANG talked about ICARE, as well as HUST’s ways todevelop talents. The institute is keeping pace with times aiming at continuous improvement by adjusting the quality, way of thinking, pedagogy, relations withother schools in HUST, with industry and civil society, etc. In the last part,Prof. HUANG analyzed the prospect of clean and renewable energy (CRE) industryin China and potential positions on job market.

In the Q&A link, the students raised questions actively, especially questionsof ICARE curriculum adequation with CRE in the real world, the futuredevelopment of CRE industry, and job hunting, etc. More questions were raisedalthough the exchange was over. Prof. HUANG gave precise answers to all thequestions.
