On the morning of November 12, Mr. Deniel Lincot, Director of Research at CNRS and Director of the Institute for Research and Development of Photovoltaic Energy, paid a visit to our institute, during which an exchange meeting was held in the meeting room 210 of the West Building No. 5. At the meeting, Professor Hu Song, director of Research Centre of ICARE, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech of welcome, and then Liu Yang, director of Education Centre, introduced in detail information about ICARE to Mr Deniel Lincot, including its history and current situation, construction progress, state of domestic and foreign cooperation, student training modes, development planning and objectives, etc.. Professor Deniel Lincot listened to the introduction carefully and expressed great interest; meanwhile, he showed his expectation of strengthening positive cooperation in the future.

After the introduction, Professor Hu Song had discussions with Mr Deniel Lincot in terms of issues in relevant scientific research fields. The exchange meeting was carried out in an easy, amicable and pleasant atmosphere.

On the afternoon of November 13, Mr Deniel Lincot, and Mr. Marc Bondiou, consul for science and technology affairs of French Consulate General in Wuhan, paid a visit to Wuhan National Laboratory for Optoelectronics together.
