It has been an honor for me to pass the selection of students for 4 to 6 months of internship in France held by our institute, and to come to France this year. I took a short-term research internship at the CTP (Center of Thermodynamics of Processes) of MINES ParisTech.

The destination of my internship is located in the Fontainebleau Town on the edge of Paris. As its name suggests, it's a beautiful town. There is one of the largest royal palaces in France, the Palace of Fontainebleau, which was the temporary imperial palace of several generations of kings in France. At the same time, it is covered by a large forest, so it is an excellent living environment.

However, the most important thing for us of course, is to finish our research task. Here are knowledgeable teachers and very friendly classmates. My supervisor, Prof. Christophe, gave us advice and guidance in our scientific research carefully and meticulously. He almost holds every regular meeting on a one-to-one basis in order to help us solve all kinds of problems to the maximum extent. In addition to his help, we concentrate on studies in the laboratory.

Apart from study, we can also experience the local customs in France. During the vacation, we can go to the stadium to feel the strong atmosphere of the European football and the deafening shoutings; or enjoy the night view of Paris under the tower; or invite some friends to the back garden of Fontainebleau for a chat; or take a train to the seaside for a trip without plan.

The four months flashed, but the experience was unforgettable.
