Without fully overcoming jet lag

You've already stood in the classroom.

Taking us on a tour in the sea of knowledge

Standing alone on the podium

You've given us lectures day after day

Yet we've never seen you sluggish

Nor have we heard you complain

What you are happiest about and most looking forward to

May be our aspiration for knowledge

You would always patiently explain, until our confusion fades away

Yet you've forgotten that you were supposed to rest after class

Our pronunciations may sound strange to each other

But accent never constitutes the barriers to emotional ties

Today you teach us conscientiously and selflessly

Tomorrow every corner of the world will see your students carrying forward your spirit

I may forget most of your names

Your faces may blur in my mind someday

But no matter how far I will go

I will never forget

Those old days
