On March 16, 2023, led by Professor Akhil GARG, students of ICARE visited the lithium-ion laboratory located in the experimental base of the Intelligent Design and Numerical Control Technology Innovation Center.
The lithium-ion battery laboratory is located on the East eighth Building of HUST Campus. The spacious and bright space is full of various high-tech equipment, which is specially used for testing and researching. One set of test equipment can measure various performance indicators of batteries, such as voltage, current, capacity and cycle life, etc. The data is processed and optimized using machine learning and deep learning algorithms to better understand the characteristics and performance of lithium-ion batteries. Battery Management Systems (BMS) are specifically designed to manage and protect lithium-ion batteries. The BMS can monitor parameters such as voltage, temperature and current and automatically control them to ensure the safety and stability of the battery.
