On the morning of March 7th, HUST held a meeting on Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Vice President of HUST, Prof. Chen Jianguo, deputy leaders of the Sino-foreign cooperation working group, Prof. Ma Jianhui and Prof. Xie Xiaolin conducted the meeting.

Prof. Luo Xiaobing, Chinese Dean of ICARE made a report to introduce ICARE's current running situation, next development plan and demands. After listening to all the reports of different units, Prof. Chen Jianguo pointed out that Sino-foreign cooperation is an important way to accelerate the “Opening-up” in education and help build a world-class university. Each school should have a clear goal and work program, which constantly strengthen exchanges and mutual learning with domestic and foreign counterparts. The school will give full play to the leading role of the Sino-foreign cooperation working group, effectively solve the new challenges, and promote cooperation in running schools.

Prof. Ma Jianhui fully affirmed the significance of Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools which has introduced high-quality foreign resources, improved the quality of education, and increased high-level international exchanges and cooperation. Prof. Xie Xiaolin pointed out that the Junshan International Campus has brought new opportunities and space for promoting Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. All units should grasp this important opportunity, and promote high-level cooperation in running schools.
