On the afternoon of April 11, 2023, Mr. Tian Kun, Deputy Director and chief engineer of Hubei Institute of Product Quality Supervision and Inspection, Mr. Wu Xiaohong, Director of the Institute of Energy, Provincial Quality Inspection Bureau, Ms. Wen Shurong, Chief engineer of Institute of Energy, and Mr. Ba Xin, Inspector, came to ICARE to discuss the joint application of State Key Laboratory for Market Supervision. Dr. Zou Mingqing, Vice Dean of our Institute, Prof. Hu Song, Director of the Research Center, Dr. Zheng Jing, director of the School-Enterprise Cooperation Center, and Prof. Wang Mingkui attended the meeting.

Mr. Tian first introduced the business scope and current situation of the Hubei Quality Supervision Bureau and Hubei Technical Committee of Energy Standardization and expressed the intention to jointly apply for the National Key Laboratory for Market Supervision with ICARE.

Dr. Zou, on behalf of the Institute, welcomed the delegation and gave a brief introduction to ICARE’s scientific research and gave positive responses to the intention of joint application.  Prof. Hu Song and Prof. Wang Mingkui discussed in detail the form of a joint application, the basis of past cooperation and the possible research direction in the future.

The two sides reached a consensus on the joint application of the National Key Laboratory for Market Supervision, and both expressed the hope to take this opportunity to strengthen the collaboration and to jointly contribute to the national "double carbon" strategy.
