Recently, HUST and the National Technical University of Athens officially signed Erasmus ⁺ Inter-institutional Agreement. Under this framework, Mr. Yi Youzhong, an ICARE student of Class 2021, will go to the Laboratory of Aerodynamics under the guidance of Vasileios Riziotis, director of the laboratory and visiting Professor at ICARE, for a three-month scientific research internship focused on the Analysis of aerodynamic interactions in multiple rotor configurations.

At the end of 2019, as a partner school, ICARE supported the NTUA in the application of EU Erasmus + Exchange Program. The project was officially approved by the European Commission in 2020, and the implementation period of the project is three years. It aims to promote the exchanges of students, researchers, and teachers, and promote cooperation between higher education institutions in Europe and developing countries.

The National Technical University of Athens is the oldest and most prestigious institution of higher education in Greece. NTUA group has been active in the field of Wind Energy RTD since the early 90’s and has participated in more than 50 EU  and national research projects on various research areas including wind turbine rotor aerodynamics and noise, wind turbine aeroelasticityand control, wind farms design and performance assessment.
