On the afternoon of April 10th, ICARE’s pre-departure Orientation for internship abroad was held in conference room s311 of the Clean Energy Building. Dr. Zou Ming qing, the Vice Dean, Ms. Xia Wenfang, the Director of the Security Office, Ms. Liu Yang, the Director of the Education Center, Ms. Zhao Yiting, the student affairs officer, and 11 students who are going to Europe for a short-term internship attended the training.

Dr. Zou expressed his congratulations to the students who will conduct internship abroad. He told them to abide by local laws and regulations during the internship, improve safety awareness and timely feedback in case of difficulties. He hoped that the students could cherish the opportunity, make full use of the high-quality educational resources of our foreign cooperative universities, and strive to become innovative talents with international competitiveness and international vision.

Ms. Zhao Yiting reminded the students to pay attention to personal and property safety, and repeatedly told the students to stay away from drugs, to ensure stay in a safe place, be with safe people, and do safe things.

A short-term scientific research internship of 4-6 months is a typical exchange program of ICARE. ICARE carries out high-quality personnel training and has sent a large number of internationally competitive talents with an international perspective, who are good at technical exchanges with economies with different cultural backgrounds.
