On the afternoon of May 25, the Association for Global Governance and Sustainable Development of HUST held a UN exchange of experience on internships in the Clean Energy Building S311. Ms. Ren Wenxuan, a student in the class of 2020 who interned at the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, shared her experiences and adventures during her internship.

Ms. Ren first reported on her two internships in the UN system. She emphasized the importance of English in the interview and advised applicants to prepare and practice more for possible questions based on their CVs. In the Q&A session that followed, Ms. Ren patiently answered various questions from the students, including details about the application materials, difficulties during the internship, and the impact of the internship experience. In conclusion, Ms. Ren concluded that her experience as an intern at the UN has taught her many things that spur her to contribute more in the future.

After the meeting, the participating students indicated that they gained a clearer and more comprehensive understanding of the internship at the UN through this event, and their ambition and confidence to engage in international affairs were strengthened.
